Cheese description:
Burrata is a traditional dairy product of the southern Italian region Puglia, made from raw cow's milk. It consists of a very tasty Pasta Filata cheese shell and a delicious filling of Stracciatella inside. Its shape resembles a small soft bag, which is filled with hand-cut Pasta Filata and fresh cream.
Contrary to popular belief, the name Burrata refers to the buttery, rich and delicious filling, not to the fact that butter is added to the cheese during the production process.
