Cheese description:
Scamorza Fresca is a traditional Italian cheese of the Pasta Filata category and is made of cow's milk. It is a semi-soft cheese that has a smooth, firm texture and a sweet creamy taste. Scamorza is an unusual type of cheese. Its shape reminds a pear or number 8 and determines its name, which comes from the phrase “capa mozza” - “cut off head”.
Scamorza can be enjoyed on its own, melted over dishes like pizza or pasta, or paired with meats and vegetables. Its versatility and distinctive flavor make it a favorite in many Italian recipes.
